Silvia Pandolfi

Silvia Pandolfi received her PhD from Sorbonne Université, France, in 2019. There, she worked at the IMPMC lab to synthesize new functional materials using high-pressure. In particular, she used multi-anvil apparatus to obtain new phases of Si and Si-bearing compounds for photovoltaic applications. Her current work at SLAC focuses on the characterization of material properties and phase transitions under dynamic compression.
